It’s been sometime…. Yes I know I have not been writing. The Lord has been doing a thing in me. How many of you know that allowing God to build your character builds your resilience!
Resilience is a key component Resilient people tend to be flexible in their way of thinking and responding to stress. An important component of cognitive flexibility is accepting the reality of our situation, even if that situation is frightening or painful. Acceptance is a key ingredient in the ability to tolerate highly stressful situations.

I noticed in my time of silence well better said in my time of not writing God was working on a new thing in me. Little did I know that when the process was clear for me to understand He would call on me for assignment that would Bless so many.
Let’s keep it real as women we really do tend to make so many darn excuses. The funny thing is we tend to think we are fooling others when the fact of the matter is we are burying our purpose. Then the worst part is we look to justify our laziness, our stubbornness, our thought that we are spiritually good and don’t need from others, you know….. the times we say to God you can meet me here and ignore the opportunities He offers to cultivate a greater relationship with Him and others. Hey y’all been there done that and it has never lead me to anything good even when I justify myself to push away His conviction.
God is cultivating a space where you have the opportunity to break away from your old stinky, stubborn patterns. We must get to the point of not ignoring and pushing away from what He is offering. You can’t or you won’t ever reach being resilient if you don’t put a stop to the voices of justification on ones very own poor habits.
I have always been the type of writer that finds freedom in my writing. My writing will never justify my poor actions if not confront them. I want to be better, I want to be greater so I have to understand the change starts with the woman in the mirror. How bad do you want it or are you just complacent and conformed.
Honestly, the times we live in calls for those who are willing on being determined, resilient and truly an Overcomer. I want to encourage you as I have encouraged myself, excuses smell bad on you. That’s not Gods plan for you learn to discern and acknowledge your blockage and your stoppage many times you can be your worst enemy!
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Stop making excuses and embrace what God is doing in you.
Be Encouraged, You where made for this! I believe! Do you believe?
