Hoping everyone has enjoyed this holiday season. We are days away from entering into 2020. A great time to sit and to reflect. Reflect knowing that God will never fail to amaze you.
I was sitting meditating on how great our God is. I was thinking about how truly Blessed we really are.
I was thinking about those that feel lonely, rejected and alone. It makes me wonder as to why they can not come to that place of encountering God for who He is and the amazing things He only does. I was thinking about those that carry on with an orphaned spirit. I use to walk in that until I met my amazing savior.
Makes me think about how in the times we are in the church of God is greatly criticized. The brothers and sisters are considered hypocrites and the so many other things that are said about the body of Christ. It saddens me that so many remain with such an ironic mentality.
I was this way until I understood the truth of Gods word. I’m no longer an orphan because Im adopted as a child of God, I have inherited many brothers and sisters in Christ. I belong to the Body. The feeling of loneliness and or abandonment could not exist any longer. I never could feel alone again.
What I want this message to say if anything at all is that your feeling alone, rejected, abandoned because your choosing this!!
God’s acceptance is for ALL not just for me but for ALL. You will have to look past the comments of the ones that choose to remain feeling and thinking the way they do regarding the Church and the body of Christ.
“you act as if you are an orphan. You act as if there is no Father who loves you”.
- Orphans have to take care of themselves.
- Orphans must be strong.
- Orphans must protect themselves from being taken advantage of.
- Orphans cannot depend on anyone.
- Orphans cannot be weak.
- Orphans crave to be taken in and loved but doubt they ever will.
- Orphans want to be accepted, to belong.
- Orphans only trust themselves.
- Orphans cannot get too close.
- Orphans are on the outside looking in.
Choose today!!! Don’t remain feeling lonely, rejected and abandoned. Connect to a body and be part of something greater. You are a son, You are a daughter, You are no longer alone.
Galatians 4:4–5 (ESV)
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
